The port

The port of Vannes is located along a 1,200m channel that leads you to the entrance of the old town. Access to the dock is controlled by the lock gate of the Kérino bridge which allows boats to come and go. From the coffee terraces of Place Gambetta, you can enjoy a nice view of the sailing yachts. A walk along the channel allows you to admire old ships listed as historical monuments as boats of heritage interest.
